My cat, Tiger, has a unrinary tract infection.
I find this somehow mildly funny, though I love my cat - even when he drools, which he does quite often. I find it humorous because the vet told me that it was because in all cat foods, there is lots of potassium or magnesium in it that builds up in the urithra of cats, and it is particularly a problem for male cats, because their urithras get small.
Kinda makes you wonder what's happening to us when we eat our food, when millions of people feed their cats with the same food every day and many cats die because of it, and many of us eat the same food every day.
Anyway, to get off of the subject of urithras, I've been memorizing Ode to a Nightengale by John Keats and it's wonderful, if anyone cares to read it,

great selection of bands including Capital j, Foxtrot Machine, Scuba Music, Destroyed by Fire, and lots of others i just cant think of right now
starts at 12 (capital j plays at 1)
all should come out and bring your green hats
note: this is not a protest to the superbowl, but it's busted and we'd rather be listening to music

In east Iceland, one of the last remaining wildernesses of Europe is now being destroyed for an Alcoa aluminum smelter. The Icelandic government is turning Iceland into a heavy industry zone, and seems willing to destroy a vast amount of Icelandic wilderness for that purpose. In September 2006, a series of huge dams will flood an area of highland vegetation, birdlife and reindeer, also causing hazard to seal breeding grounds on the coast. A series of 20 waterfalls will be dammed in a glacial river that falls from one cliff after another, a total of 600 kilometers running from Vatnajokull, the greatest glacier in Europe.
In south Iceland, Thjorsarver, an area that is fit for the Unesco World Heritage list and is the most valuable nesting grounds for pink-footed geese, is in danger. Langisjor, a favorite lake with nature photographers, said to be the bluest lake on earth, is on the National Power Company's hit list.
In north and northwest Iceland, the river Skjalfandafljot and the Great Rivers of Skagafjordur, the most exciting rivers for rafting in Europe, are endangered.
Glacial water's silt feeds the ocean but once it is dammed it will only cause land erosion, mud-filled reservoirs and valleys, diverted rivers and air pollution, all for the sake of smelting a few thousand tonnes of aluminum.
Large sums of money are at stake, not money for the future but for a government seeking a financial boost, a high for the economy. We have seen manipulation, corruption, violation of democratic procedures, and even threats to those that dare oppose. We have seen propaganda, boycotts of scientific research and violations of labour laws by a contractor known for corruption. Aluminum companies line up for the cheap energy the government has put on sale.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, we have a huge, huge soccer game and it would be really awesome if we could have alot of fans out there.
The game's again Turlnings Catholic and it's at 7 at Clarke field, you can call me for directions if you want.
If we win this game it will basically guarantee us second in distric, which hasnt happened in a plethora, or myriad, of years!

Things have been weird...then good. Real good. And not just because soccer's started.
Yesterday McManus and I bought 48 lil' Sips (the barrel drinks) for $6 at Albertsons. But these were the worst possible flavors: papaya, mango, kiwi-lime, and pineapple (which was purple by the way). So we tried to find someone to share this glory with, so we went to Britt's house where we could only drink 8 total. So we decided to go hide them all around Mikey's room. We were incredibly thourough with this hiding example: we put one in a blazer inside pocket. So he has 40 lil' Sips hidden all over his room and with the 8 empty ones, we wrote him a message.
It was awesome.
I've become obsessed with the Flaming Lips and the Unicorns.

Some people can't sleep with the curtains open in case they see the eyes they imagine in their heads every night burning through the glass. Lots of people have panic buttons fitted in their bedrooms so they can reach over and set the alarm off without disturbing the intruder.

If you have been rejected many times in your life, then one more rejection then one more rejection isn't going to make much difference. If you're rejected, don't automatically assume it's your fault. The other person may have several reasons for not doing what you're asking her to do: none of it may have anything to do with you. Perhaps the person is busy or not feeling well or genuinely not interested in spending time with you. Rejections are part of everyday life. Don't let them bother you. Keep reaching out to others. Keep reaching out to others. When you begin to recieve positive responses, then you are on the right track. It's all a matter of numbers. Count the positive responses and for get about the rejections.

THE COCOON
A warrior, or pawo in Tibetan, is a brave person, a genuine person who is
able to step out of the cocoon -- that very comfortable cocoon that he or
she is trying to sleep in. If you are in your cocoon, occasionally, you
shout your complaints, such as: "Leave me alone!" "Bug off!" "I want to be
who I am." Your cocoon is fabricated out of tremendous aggression, which
comes from fighting against your environment, your parental upbringing,
your educational upbringing, your upbringing of all kinds. You don't really
have to fight with your cocoon. You can raise your head and just take a
little peek out of the cocoon. Sometimes, when you first peek your head
out, you find the air a bit too fresh and cold. But still, it is good. It
is the best fresh air of spring or autumn or, for that matter, the best
fresh air of winter or summer. So when you stick your neck out of the
cocoon for the first time, you like it in spite of the discomfort of the
environment. You find that it's delightful. Then, having peeked out, you
become brave enough to climb out of the cocoon. You sit on your cocoon and
look around at your world.

I think I'm going to be in the paper for soccer!
After our last game against OC (Opeloussas Catholic), some guy with a camera and another guy with a notepad came up to my coach and i guess asked who the sweeper was, but then my coach said, "number 15" and i was right there, so the reporter guys came up and asked what my name and number was.
So that's real tight, only my back and my ankle are "broken" from that game, buuut what else is new!
Winter Formal was fun, but kind-of dissappointing.
~sigh~ ive been playing my new bass and my new amp at McManus' after watching Seinfeld all morning, it's tiring.
Neat.
I'd like to hang out with some of my old friends --call me
